Matt Strack

Matt Strack has been a professional in the nursing and healthcare management field since 1994. Currently serving as the Director of the Carle Neuroscience Institute and Digestive Health Institute as well as the Director of Surgical Services at Carle Foundation Hospital since August 2005, Strack has extensive experience managing hospital operations, including outpatient infusion services and inpatient overflow areas. Strack began their career at Carle Foundation Hospital, where previous roles included Emergency Room RN and nursing supervisor. Prior to the current tenure, Strack worked as a Travel RN with Cross Country TravCorps, providing emergency department services across multiple hospitals in Illinois and California. Strack holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University-Mennonite College of Nursing and completed further education at Chamberlain University.
