Roger Sexton

Roger Sexton, PMP, is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in urban planning and community development. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Carle Foundation Hospital since 2014, Roger oversees diverse projects in IT, business development, and facilities management. As the Principal of BuildNeighborhoods since 2013, Roger focuses on enhancing neighborhoods through community development initiatives. Previously, Roger held positions such as Senior Neighborhood Planner for the City of Garland, where neighborhood planning and residential development were primary responsibilities, and Executive Director for nonprofits in Rockford and housing development. Roger's educational background includes master's and bachelor's degrees in urban planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by an associate's degree in business administration from Parkland College. Roger's military service as a Military Police in the US Army included critical security duties.
