Ryan Terrien is an accomplished astronomer with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Carleton College since January 2018, Ryan previously held the position of NRC Postdoctoral Research Associate at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where responsibilities included developing and testing high-precision calibration systems for astronomical spectroscopy. Ryan's prior research experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Penn State University, focusing on spectral analysis and the development of a high-resolution spectrograph. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Penn State University and a BA in Physics and Astronomy from Carleton College.
