Blue Miaoran Dong

Blue Miaoran Dong is a PhD student at Carleton University, specializing in Communication and Media Studies. Since September 2019, Blue has served as a Project Manager for the Global Media and Internet Concentration Project, collaborating with a diverse team of 50 academics across 40 countries to analyze the evolution of telecommunications, Internet, and media industries over the past fifty years. Blue also possesses extensive experience as a Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and various roles in conference organization, as well as project and office management at Desjardins Insurance and State Farm®. With a strong educational background, including a Master of Arts in Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Double Major, Blue combines academic knowledge with practical skills in data management, marketing, and community engagement.
