Jessica Parish

Jessica Parish, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration at Carleton University since January 2024. Previously, Jessica held the position of Marie Curie Visiting Fellow at De Montfort University from March 2022 to January 2024, and worked as a Health Policy Analyst for the Ontario Chiropractic Association from May 2020 to February 2022, focusing on Evidence Based Care and Extended Health Care Insurance. Earlier roles include Research Associate at Lancaster House Publishing and Associate Editor at Palgrave Macmillan, where Jessica co-edited a collection of academic essays. Jessica's academic journey includes a PhD and MA from York University, where original research on urban health and wellbeing was conducted. Educational background also features a Bachelor’s degree from Carleton University and qualifications from Goethe University Frankfurt and the University of Dar es Salaam.
