Director Risk And Insurance Services at Carleton University

Tony Lackey has extensive work experience in various roles within the risk and insurance field. From 1981 to 1998, they worked at Insurance Claims Management in various positions. In 1990, they were a Claims Examiner at Royal Insurance until 1994. Then, from 1999 to 2001, they served as a Principal at Navigant Consulting. Starting in 2001 until an unknown end date, they held the position of Director of Risk and Insurance Services at Carleton University. Lastly, since 2008, they have been an Instructor at the Sprott School of Business - Professional Development Division.

Tony Lackey attended Carleton University from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. Tony also pursued further education at the Insurance Institute of Canada to obtain the Certified Insurance Profession/FCIP designation. Tony Lackey has also obtained additional certifications, including the CRM Designation from GRMI in 2018 and the Fellow Certified Insurance professional, Risk Fellow credentials from the Insurance Institute of Canada and RIMS.
