Yanran Guan

Yanran Guan is an experienced researcher and educator with a strong academic background in computer science. Currently serving as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Carleton University since September 2017, Yanran also held the position of Associate Researcher at Huawei from January to December 2021. Previous roles include Research Assistant at Carleton Immersive Media Studio from January to August 2020 and Junior Data Scientist at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency from May 2018 to December 2019. Yanran's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science, expected in 2024, and a Master of Computer Science from Carleton University, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Technology from Donghua University and a minor in French Language from Shanghai International Studies University.
