David Burkett

David Burkett is an experienced plant manager currently leading the Float Plant at Carlex Glass America, LLC since August 2020. Prior to this role, David served as President at Fuyao Glass Illinois, where responsibilities included managing a complete refurbishment of the plant and ensuring the successful start-up of float lines. David's extensive background also includes positions such as Production/Technical Manager at AGC Glass Company North America, Area Manager at Visteon/ACH/Zeledyne, and Manager Batch and Furnace at PPG Industries Fiber Glass. Additionally, David held positions at PPG Industries and LOF Pilkington, showcasing a comprehensive expertise in glass manufacturing and production management. David holds a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from The Ohio State University.
