Peter Hanley has a diverse range of work experience. Peter started their career as a Motor Mechanics Apprentice at Euroteam Services in 2006, where they gained experience in motor vehicle servicing, MOT's, tire repair/replacement, and general maintenance and repair. Peter then worked as a Motor Sport Assembler at Penny & Giles Controls Limited from 2007 to 2010, where they were responsible for tasks such as soldering, welding, laser etching, and testing LVDT's. Peter also learned to file job cards into a database and liaised with other departments to stimulate workflow.
From 2010 to 2014, Peter worked as an Aerospace Assembler at Penny & Giles Aerospace Limited, where they performed duties like soldering, welding, laser etching, testing, and packing aerospace parts. Peter also ensured compliance with safety regulations in high-risk products and followed the 5S lean manufacturing methodology.
In 2015, they took on the role of Front of House at Pizza Hut, where they provided excellent customer service, took and delivered orders, and maintained cleanliness of the restaurant. Simultaneously, they worked as an ICT/ Industrial Assembler (Temporary Contract) at Penny & Giles, adding another range of components to their knowledge of assembly.
Peter then joined Active Sensors Limited in 2016 as an Assembly Technician, where they were responsible for initial sub-assembly of parts, completing products from start to final inspection, and reading and executing weld schedules.
In 2017, Peter worked as a Technical & Aftersales Services Operations Technician at Curtiss-Wright Industrial Group for a short period of time. Later in the same year, they joined Carlisle Companies Incorporated as a Production Engineer. In this role, their duties included documenting and organizing work instructions, creating/maintaining test equipment, and designing and producing fixtures and tooling using various software.

Peter Hanley completed their education at various institutions. Peter attended The Grange School from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained their High School degree with a focus on GCSE subjects, including Maths, English, and Science, achieving 8 A-C grades. Later, they pursued further studies in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. From 2014 to 2015, they attended Poole & Bournemouth College and received a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electronic Engineering. Subsequently, Peter enrolled at Poole & Bournemouth Uni from 2015 to 2017, where they completed a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
