Javier Moreno

Javier Moreno is a prominent researcher in the field of Immunology, currently serving as a scientific investigator at Instituto de Salud Carlos III and as the head of the Leishmaniasis and Chagas Disease Unit. Since December 2008, Javier has also held the position of Director at the WHO Collaborating Centre for Leishmaniasis, which supports the World Health Organization in controlling and researching leishmaniasis. Javier's extensive academic background includes roles as an associate professor at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and various research positions at prestigious institutions such as Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas - CSIC and Centro Nacional de Microbiología.
