Daniel Rico is an accomplished fundraising and advancement professional with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as the Vice President of Advancement at Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School since June 2025, Rico previously held the position of Chief Development Officer at Sasha Bruce Youthwork, where efforts focused on fundraising for Washington, D.C.'s largest homeless youth organization from August 2019 to June 2025. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Individual Giving at Mary's Center, where the first formal individual giving program was developed, and Annual Fund Manager at the National Council of La Raza, where integrated digital marketing strategies were executed to enhance individual giving. Rico's career began with various roles at Georgetown University and included management of a voter outreach initiative for a political campaign. Rico holds a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, both from Georgetown University.
