Mark Staton

Mark Staton is a highly experienced nursing leader currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at Carlsbad Medical Center since February 2023. Previously, Mark held the position of Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at MountainView Regional Medical Center from April 2021 to February 2023. Mark's extensive career at Lovelace Health System spanned from June 2005 to April 2021, during which time various roles were undertaken, including Nursing Director for Post-Surgical and Nursing Administration, Nursing Director for Post Surgical Services, and Nursing Manager for Acute Rehabilitation and Intermediate Care. Mark's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Leadership in Healthcare Systems from Grand Canyon University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of New Mexico.
