Tom Doris

Tom Doris has a diverse work experience in the financial and technology industries. Tom is currently the Head of Alpha Capture at Carlson Capital, LP since 2022. Prior to this role, they were the Chief Data Scientist at Liquidnet from 2017 to 2021. Before that, they served as the CEO at OTAS Technologies (formerly Olivetree Solutions), an investment analytics system, from 2011 to 2017. Tom also worked as a Quant Trading professional at Marshall Wace from 2008 to 2010, and as a Quant Developer in Equity Derivatives at Bear Stearns from 2006 to 2008. Earlier in their career, Tom worked as a Consultant in various financial roles from 2004 to 2005, and as an R&D Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2000 to 2004.

Tom Doris completed their Ph.D. in Computer Science from Dublin City University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they attended Rice College in Ennis from 1989 to 1994, although the degree and field of study during that time are not specified.
