Rachel Kahler

Rachel Kahler is a seasoned patent agent with extensive experience in patent preparation, prosecution, and management, particularly within the biotechnology field. Currently serving at Carlson Caspers since July 2025, Rachel previously held roles at General Mills from July 2013 to July 2025, where responsibilities included global patent filing strategy and maintenance of patent portfolios. Prior positions include patent agent roles at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP and Faegre & Benson LLP, focusing on patent litigation support and intellectual property, as well as at Fish & Richardson P.C., specializing in freedom to operate and patentability opinions. Rachel earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota and holds a B.S. in Microbiology from South Dakota State University.
