Jason Bever has a significant amount of work experience in environmental consulting and field services. Jason started their career as an intern at the Southwest Florida Water Management District in 2001. In 2002, they joined SCS Field Services as a Senior Field Technician, where they managed and performed routine operation and maintenance for landfills in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. In 2011, Jason joined Carlson Environmental Consultants as a Field Manager, responsible for overseeing landfill gas operations and maintenance. Jason provided troubleshooting, installed gas extraction systems, conducted monitoring, and trained personnel. In January 2018, they were promoted to the role of Regional Director of Landfill Gas System Operations and Maintenance at Carlson Environmental Consultants.
Jason Bever attended Key West High School from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Jason then went on to the University of South Florida from 1995 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science. Following that, from 2000 to 2002, they continued their education at the University of South Florida, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geology. Additionally, Jason Bever obtained certifications in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard 40-Hr (HAZWOPER) in February 2003 from the University of South Florida. Jason also holds a certification in Confined Space, though the details of the institution and dates are unknown.
