As a Vice President, Emma Gergen is responsible for identifying new investment opportunities, managing due diligence processes, and supporting our portfolio of companies.
Emma joined Carlson Private Capital in January 2019 after working alongside Andy Cantwell and Taylor Moore at Norwest Equity Partners. While at Norwest, Emma was fortunate to close several platform investments for the firm and support talented management teams across many businesses in the portfolio. Emma started her career in family capital at the age of 5 (!) when she became a shareholder of her family company, Crescent Electric, a business recently surpassing its 100th year of private family ownership. Emma started her professional career as a CPA at Deloitte & Touche and as an investment banking analyst at TripleTree. Currently, she serves on the board of Cristo Rey High School, a member of the Cristo Rey Network in Minneapolis’ Phillips neighborhood. Emma graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received her M.B.A from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
