Ann Black

Ann Black is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the life, annuity, and retirement solutions sectors. Currently serving as Co-Chair of Life, Annuity, and Retirement Solutions at Carlton Fields since March 2019, Ann has also been a shareholder and Co-Chair of the Life, Annuity, and Retirement Solutions Industry Group at the same firm since January 2014. Prior professional experience includes a partnership at Jorden Burt LLP, where Ann was Vice Chair of the Life Industry Group and Chair of the Insurance Regulatory and Transactions Practice from September 1991 to December 2013. Additionally, Ann held the role of Director and Secretary at the National Association for Fixed Annuities from April 2008 to December 2010. Ann Black earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law between 1988 and 1991.
