Emily Meier-Murren has a diverse range of work experience in the field of brand marketing and consumer marketing. Emily is currently working as the Director of Brand Marketing at Carma since March 2023. In this role, they are responsible for brand strategy, marketing and advertising operations, partnerships and sponsorships, PR, social and content. Prior to this, they worked at Domain from 2015 to 2023, holding various positions including Director, Consumer Marketing, National Brand Marketing Manager, and Marketing Campaign Manager. Emily also had a brief role as a Scholarship Holder at Tech Ready Women Academy in 2022. Emily worked as an Advisory Consultant at The International Exchange (TIE) in 2021 and as an Alumni at The Marketing Academy from 2020 to 2021. Emily has also worked as a Brand Manager at Open Colleges from 2013 to 2015 and as a Marketing Communications Manager on contract at the University of Sydney in 2013. Emily began their career as a National Brand Marketing Manager at Fudge Kitchen from 2010 to 2013.
Emily Meier-Murren completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resource Management at The University of Kent, where they attended from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their degree, Emily has obtained certifications in Finance Essentials from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in December 2021 and participated in the Sydney Marketing Society's 2020 Mentoring Program offered by the Sydney Marketing Society (SMS) in February 2021.
