Duncan Abela

Duncan Abela is a Full Stack Developer at CARMA since October 2021, with extensive experience in software development and engineering. Prior to their current role, Duncan has been self-employed as a Contract Software Engineer and Consultant since June 2016, working on various projects. Duncan served as CTO at Raw Biscuits from November 2010 to June 2016 and worked as a Developer in freelance software development from 2009 to 2010. Earlier in Duncan's career, leadership was demonstrated as Project Leader at Intercomp Softweb Ltd. from January 2006 to January 2009 and in IT Support and Software Development at ASP. Consulting Group from January 2000 to July 2001. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Informatics from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Psychology in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Malta.
