Antoine Niek

Antoine Niek is a senior software developer at Optable. Antoine has over nine years of experience in software development and has been a lead developer on various projects.

Niek started their career as a PHP and Ruby developer at mTrip in 2011. Antoine then moved to kamiCode, where they were responsible for developing and administering Linux applications. In 2009, they transitioned to Blumix Entertainment Inc. as an ASP.Net/Javascript developer.

In 2012, Niek joined AdGear as an application team lead. Antoine was the principal developer on the customer facing UI/API's of AdGear's DSP solution "Trader Platform." Antoine also led the team that built and reshaped the product to leverage Samsung Ads assets post acquisition in 2016.

Niek has experience with Hadoop jobs and hive queries, Vertica database management and optimization, Docker recipes for local development and Kubernetes deployments using helm for CI, and Concourse pipelines for CI. Antoine also led the rewrite of UI, transition to SPA technologies (ReactJS/Typescript), and the rewrite of REST APIs to GraphQL.

Antoine Niek has a Master of Science degree in IT from SUPINFO and a Medicine PCEM1 from Université Côte d'Azur. Antoine is also certified by Cisco Systems in CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and by Mandriva in MCA (Mandriva Certification for Administrator) and MCU (Mandriva Certification for Advanced Users).
