Blair Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in retail operations and risk management. Since 2014, Blair has held multiple leadership roles at CarMax, including AVP of Retail Operations, Director of Sales Operations, and Director of Strategy. Prior to this, Blair spent 15 years at Capital One, rising to Senior Director of Risk Management, where significant contributions included leading a team of 40 risk consultants and engaging business leaders on various risk areas. Blair’s expertise spans operations management, process redesign, and customer experience enhancement, with a proven track record of utilizing Lean & Six Sigma methodologies to achieve operational excellence. Blair holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Economics and an MBA from Duke University.
