Christopher Davis, PhD, is a seasoned professional in data science and physics education with extensive experience in machine learning and research. Currently serving as Manager of Data Science at CarMax since October 2019, Christopher has designed and deployed machine learning models to enhance car purchasing efficiencies, particularly innovating during the Covid-19 pandemic. Prior experience includes a role as Graduate Student Researcher at Yale University, where Christopher contributed to the CUORE experiment and held various teaching positions, including McDougal Graduate Teaching Fellow and Residential College Tutor. Additionally, Christopher completed a data science fellowship at Insight Data Science and has a strong foundational background in high-energy particle physics gained during undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University.
