Darrell Patton

Darrell Patton has extensive experience in operations and strategy, currently serving as the Assistant Vice President of Strategy for Operations, Logistics, and Production Planning at CarMax since April 2007. Previously, Darrell held several director-level positions at CarMax, focusing on ops strategy, production planning, data science for core pricing systems, and inventory strategy. Prior to this, Darrell worked as a Senior Strategy Analyst at GMAC ResCap and held roles as a Business Analyst and Strategy Analyst at CarMax. Earlier career experience includes being a Product Manager at James Publishing and an Intern at Tangram Corporation. Darrell holds a Master of Science in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Wesleyan University.
