Matthew Walker

Matthew Walker is currently the Manager of Strategy & Analytics at CarMax, a position held since 2022, after serving as a Senior Analyst in the same department from 2019 to 2022. Prior to joining CarMax, Matthew worked as an Associate Director at Navigant in 2007, where responsibilities included advising Department of Energy officials and conducting market assessments. Matthew began their career as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Tech Research Institute in 2006, analyzing an avian influenza detection device. They earned a BS in Chemical-Biological Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2008.
