Melanie Murphy has over 26 years of experience at CarMax, currently serving as Vice President of Technology Business Management and Shared Services. Melanie has held several key positions, including Assistant Vice President, Director, and IT Business Planning Manager, focusing on business planning team development, IT budget management, vendor contract negotiation, and IT project governance. With a strong foundation in financial management and project portfolio management, Melanie has contributed to optimizing spending and enhancing operational efficiency. Prior to CarMax, Melanie gained experience as a Finance Trainee at Circuit City. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Finance from the University of Richmond.
