Michael Mercer

Michael Mercer is a skilled professional with diverse experience in both sports and automotive industries. Currently serving as a Basketball Skills Trainer at RCE Skills Academy since November 2019, Michael focuses on the development of young athletes while collaborating with their parents. With a long tenure at CarMax since September 2014, Michael has progressed to a Senior Reconditioning Associate 1, performing various auto body repair tasks while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Michael also has a background as a professional basketball player, having played for several teams, where engagement in community service and adherence to club regulations were essential aspects of the role. Additionally, Michael has experience in site management, painting, and car sales, supported by degrees in Criminology from the University of South Florida and Sociology from The University of Georgia.
