Peter Kapur

Peter Kapur is a seasoned data and analytics professional with significant experience in data strategy, governance, and quality management across various industries. Currently serving at CarMax, Peter focuses on advancing enterprise data governance and quality initiatives to enhance data as a strategic asset. Previously, at Waste Management, Peter led data transformation efforts and established a new vision for data governance. Other roles include managing partner at True North Data, where Peter provided advisory services in data governance, and head of data strategy at AIG, where operational efficiency and regulatory compliance were prioritized. Peter also held senior positions at DTCC, Credit Suisse, and Goldman Sachs, contributing to the development and implementation of comprehensive data management strategies. Peter holds a BBA in Computer Science from Baruch College.
