Ryan Carter is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic sourcing and human resources. Currently serving as Senior Analyst of Strategic Sourcing at CarMax since December 2019, Ryan leads sourcing projects that deliver data-driven insights to lower costs and enhance value across commodities. Prior to this role, Ryan held multiple leadership positions in the US Army, including HR Enterprise Lead for a forward-deployed infantry battalion and Executive Officer for a heavy weapons company, overseeing logistics and personnel management. In addition to military experience, Ryan worked at Capital One as a contractor, where financial reporting processes were streamlined.
