Avery Brandes

Avery Brandes is an experienced education professional currently serving at Carmel Clay Schools since July 2024. Previously, from August 2021 to July 2024, Avery taught 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies and English Language Arts at The Auburn School, achieving notable progress in student reading growth. Prior to a career in education, Avery held various roles in sales and consulting, including positions at J.G. Wentworth, Paychex, VIDA Fitness & Aura Spa, and Bernard Health, focusing on client engagement and management. Early professional experience includes roles in clinical trials and research at Nashville Neuroscience Group and Saint Thomas Health Services. Avery holds a BA in History and Philosophy from Loyola University Chicago and is currently pursuing a Master of Education at Regent University. Additional academic credentials include a Summer Programme Graduate designation in Military History from the University of Cambridge.
