Toyinda L. Smith

Toyinda L. Smith, MS, serves as Principal at The Coaching Seat, LLC since May 2019, where responsibilities include delivering keynote presentations, workshops, and global panel moderation while enhancing organizational effectiveness through DEI practices and learning program management. As Founder and Principal of Leadership Strategy & Consulting, LLC since March 2014, Toyinda develops leadership workshops focused on increasing employee engagement and empowerment, emphasizing emotional intelligence and personality temperaments. Previous experience includes teaching Communication 101 and Leadership 349 as Adjunct Faculty at Coker College from August 2015 to August 2021, along with a role as a Higher Education Administrator at Purdue University from November 1999 to March 2014. Educational qualifications include an AS in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University, an MS in Student Affairs and Higher Education from Indiana State University, and a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Purdue University.
