Jyothi Thundimadathil has over 20 years of experience in the field of drug substance development. Jyothi began their career in 2000 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Blechner Center for Industrial Catalysis in Israel, where they developed novel Lewis acid catalysts and applied them to Prins condensation reactions. In 2001, they moved to IUPUI as a Postdoctoral Fellow, where they designed model β-sheet peptides. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Solvay as an R&D Group Leader for Peptides and Bio-Conjugates, then moved to American Peptide Company as a Technical Support Associate for Peptides and eventually an Associate Director. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Director at CPC Scientific, and from 2015 to 2022, they were the Director of CMC Development at Bachem. Currently, they are the Director of Drug Substance Development CMC at Carmot Therapeutics, Inc.
Jyothi Thundimadathil completed their PhD in Catalysis of Organic Reactions at the Cochin University of Science and Technology between 1996 and 1999.
