Barry Curran

Barry Curran has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Barry is currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Legal for Ireland at Carne Group, where they previously held the position of Director and Head of Legal. Prior to joining Carne Group, Barry worked as an Associate Director in the legal department of the company.

Before joining Carne Group, Barry worked as a senior associate solicitor in the Asset Management Department at Matheson. Barry gained extensive experience in advising on the launch and management of various fund structures, including UCITS, QIF, and QIAIF. Barry also worked on high-profile litigation cases during their time at Matheson.

Earlier in their career, Barry served as a Legal Consultant at L & P Financial Trustees Limited and as a Commercial Solicitor at CIE Solicitors. Barry began their legal career as a Trainee Solicitor at Eversheds Solicitors.

Barry Curran attended the Law Society of Ireland but did not complete a degree. Barry then studied Law (LLB) at Trinity College Dublin. Later, they pursued a Masters in Commercial Law at University College Dublin.
