Electrical Engineering Team

The Electrical Engineering Team at Carnegie Mellon Racing is responsible for designing, integrating, and managing the electrical systems of the race car. This includes overseeing interfaces for driver control, ensuring the integration of all electrical components, managing the vehicle's tractive systems, accumulator systems, and low voltage operations, as well as developing and maintaining the firmware that controls the various electronic systems. Their work ensures the car's electrical systems function seamlessly and reliably during competitions.
