Adria L. Imada is a distinguished academic currently serving as a 2021 Andrew Carnegie Fellow at the Carnegie Corporation of New York and a professor of history at the University of California, Irvine, where involvement in the medical humanities program also takes place. Previously, Imada held the position of associate professor of ethnic studies at both UC San Diego and the University of Oregon, contributing to the fields of ethnic studies and anthropology. Imada's educational background includes a Ph.D. in American Studies and a Certificate in Culture and Media from New York University, along with a B.A. in American Studies from Yale University.
