Kenneth C. Benson

Kenneth C. Benson serves as the Editorial Manager and Editor/Writer at Carnegie Corporation of New York since April 2016, where responsibilities include developing editorial projects, editing materials, and overseeing content across print and digital platforms. Previously, Kenneth held the position of Managing Editor in the Communications & Marketing Department at The New York Public Library, where notable work involved editing high-profile exhibitions and enhancing visitor experiences. Prior experience includes roles as Web Editor and Exhibitions Research Coordinator at the same institution, contributing to major online exhibitions and coordinating editorial support for exhibitions. Kenneth’s freelance work involved writing and curating for significant library exhibitions, along with earlier positions focusing on trade publishing. Kenneth obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in English with additional concentrations in Art History and Classical Civilization from Oberlin College.
