Tade Aina is an experienced leader in the fields of education, governance, and research, currently serving as the Senior Programs Director at the Carnegie Corporation of New York since September 2024. Previously, Tade held multiple senior roles at the Mastercard Foundation, including Chief Impact and Research Officer and Senior Director, Research, from October 2020 to September 2024. Tade was the Executive Director at the Partnership for African Social & Governance Research (PASGR) between October 2014 and September 2020. Earlier positions include Director of Higher Education & Libraries in Africa at the Carnegie Corporation, Regional Representative at the Ford Foundation, and Deputy Executive Secretary at the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA). Tade holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Sussex, an MSc in Sociology from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BSc in Sociology from the University of Lagos.
