Arun Sundararajan

Arun Sundararajan is the Harold Price Professor of Entrepreneurship and Technology at New York University, where research and writing focus on the impact of digital technologies on business and society, particularly in areas such as generative AI, platform governance, and the sharing economy. Sundararajan serves as the Director of the Fubon Center for Technology, Business and Innovation and has authored the influential book "The Sharing Economy: The End of Employment and the Rise of Crowd-Based Capitalism." Involved in multiple strategic initiatives at the World Economic Forum, Sundararajan holds advisory roles at CNBC, the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, and various companies, including Rally and Walmart. Educational qualifications include a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Ph.D. in Economics, Business, Operations Research, and Digital Technologies from the University of Rochester.
