Marisa Brasor

Marisa (Jaffe) Brasor currently serves as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs, a position held since October 2022. Prior to this role, Marisa was the Managing Director of Philanthropic Partnerships & Strategy at Health Care Without Harm from July 2019 to October 2022. Marisa's consulting work from 2015 to July 2019 involved providing strategic advice to various non-profits on fundraising, community outreach, and organizational development. Previous positions include Director of Development for Europe at The Nature Conservancy, Director of Development & Philanthropic Partnerships at The Pew Charitable Trusts, and Director of Development for the EMBARQ Center at the World Resources Institute, among others. Marisa holds a Master of Science in International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida.
