Clarissa Guerrero

Clarissa Guerrero is an experienced media relations professional currently serving as the Media Relations Manager at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace since May 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Media Relations Coordinator. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant to the Press Director for the Justin Nelson Campaign for Texas Attorney General, where responsibilities included maintaining media lists and coordinating press opportunities. Clarissa has also interned at the 200th Civil District Court, gaining insight into the judicial system, participated in the Austin CityWorks Academy to learn about governmental processes, and worked as a Public Relations Intern at World Hunger Relief Inc., focusing on editing and writing news releases. Clarissa holds a Master of Science in Communications from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations from Baylor University.
