Brooke Stafford-Brizard is a seasoned educational leader with extensive experience in research and data strategy. Currently serving as Vice President of Research to Practice at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since April 2017, Brooke previously held the position of Director from September 2012 to March 2017, along with roles as an Education Consultant and Co-Founder of the Young Women's College Prep Charter School of Rochester. Notable early career positions include Director of Data Strategy and Evaluation for District 79 at the NYC Department of Education and Director of Instructional Research within the Division of Teaching and Learning at the New York City Department of Education. Brooke earned a Ph.D. in Cognitive Studies in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, between 2000 and 2006.
