Hafsa Mahfooz

Director, Major Gifts at Carnegie Hall

Hafsa Mahfooz is the Director of Major Gifts at Carnegie Hall. In this role, they are responsible for developing, managing, and raising donations for a $10 million fundraising project. Hafsa also develops and maintains relationships with Carnegie Hall Patrons and connects them to programs and initiatives that require financial support.

Previously, Hafsa served as the Director of Class Giving at Columbia University in the City of New York. In this role, they were responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the Class Giving program and the management of three frontline fundraisers. Hafsa also developed and implemented fundraising programs for the annual fund at Columbia College.

Hafsa has a proven track record of fundraising success and is passionate about connecting people with causes they care about. Hafsa is a strategic thinker and an effective communicator, which makes their an asset to any organization.

After Hafsa Mahfooz graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management from Christ College, they pursued a career in marketing. Hafsa then went on to get a certification from LinkedIn in Asking Great Sales Questions and Business-to-Business Sales.

Hafsa Mahfooz reports to Susan J. Brady, Chief Development Officer. They work with Kristen Henry - Director, Development Systems & Administration, Kevin Groob - Director, Membership, and Don Spalding - Director, Patron Program and Membership.
