Ittai Shapira serves as a Visiting Guest Artist at Cedars-Sinai since March 2023, and has been a Music Composer and Curator at Weill Cornell Medicine since October 2013, focusing on music for anxiety and depression interventions for healthcare workers. As the President and Artistic Director of Sound Potential since June 2016, Ittai Shapira explores the therapeutic power of music in the arts and sciences. Additionally, Ittai Shapira has collaborated with Carnegie Hall since May 2015 as a performer, composer, and curator, and holds the position of President at Shapira Music since July 2005, alongside co-founding the Feher Foundation in May 2003. Ittai Shapira is also a seasoned performing and recording artist with a portfolio that includes 20 CD recordings as a solo violinist and collaborations with various orchestras, working with numerous labels such as Champs Hill, BBC, and EMI. Educationally, Ittai Shapira holds a BM and MM as well as a BA and MA in Music from The Juilliard School, further enhancing a rich career in the arts.
