Suzanne Simons currently serves as the Chief Literacy and Languages Officer at Carnegie Learning, a position held since November 2022. Additionally, Suzanne is a Nexus Fellow at The Equity Lab and previously worked at National Geographic Education as part of the EDUCATION LAB. As Chief Academic Officer at Literacy Design Collaborative from December 2013 to June 2020, Suzanne advanced education through equity-focused curriculum development and innovative evaluation systems. Suzanne's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of School Turnaround at American Reading Company, where leadership in school transformation models was key, along with independent consulting in evaluation and assessment from 1998 to 2012. Adjunct professorships at Drexel University and a directorship at Say Yes to Education highlight a commitment to literacy and education. Suzanne holds multiple degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Saint Joseph's University, including a Doctorate in Educational Leadership.
