Aida Mirebrahimi Tafreshi

Aida Mirebrahimi Tafreshi is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Neural Computation at Carnegie Mellon University since August 2023. Previously, Aida held positions as an AI Education Intern at Vector Institute and a Computational Neuroscience Teaching Assistant at Neuromatch. Aida also served as a Python Programming teacher for 8th-grade students at the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (Sampad) and as a Machine Learning Engineer at SabaIdea. Additionally, Aida participated in teaching signal processing and programming at workshops organized by the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) and co-mentored student research groups with affiliations to MIT, NIMH, and Oxford University. Aida's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from Western University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Shariaty Technical and Vocational University.
