Bria Walker-Rhoze is an accomplished theatre professional with significant experience in academia and performance. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Acting at Carnegie Mellon University since May 2023, Bria has also held positions as an Assistant Professor of Acting at both Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, Bria is an Artistic Associate at Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre and a freelance actress with Actor's Equity Association. Previous roles include teaching artist positions at various institutions, including The Neighborhood Academy and City Theatre Company, and serving as a guest director at the Virginia Governor's School for the Arts. Bria is a founding member of the August Wilson Center Theatre Ensemble and has a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory, along with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wright State University.
