Josh Centor

Josh Centor serves as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Carnegie Mellon University, a position held since August 2008, where responsibilities include oversight of Dining Services, the Cohon University Center, and the office of Student Leadership, Involvement and Civic Engagement (SLICE). Additional roles at Carnegie Mellon include Director of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation, and Interim Associate Dean of Student Affairs Operations, overseeing Housing, Dining, Conference and Event Services. Prior experience includes various positions in athletics, culminating in roles at NCAA as Coordinator of New Media. Josh Centor holds a PhD in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA in Applied Communication from Indiana University Indianapolis, and a BA in Economics from Brandeis University.
