Kayla Williams

Kayla Williams is a Communications Specialist at Carnegie Mellon University since September 2024, previously serving as a Communications Assistant for the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh from June 2022 to September 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Assistant/Social Media Specialist at Hosanna House Inc. (February 2021 - June 2022) and Supervisor at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh (November 2019 - July 2020), as well as an internship in Community Relations at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh (June 2019 - August 2019). Kayla's earlier experience also includes the roles of Secretary and Treasurer within the Public Relations Student Society of America from September 2018 to May 2019, and Development Intern at Hosanna House Inc., where responsibilities included managing social media accounts. Kayla earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2019 after attending Oakland Catholic High School from 2012 to 2015.
