Marie Coleman

Marie Coleman is an experienced professional in higher education and development, currently serving as the Executive Director of Heinz College Washington DC at Carnegie Mellon University since September 2008. Coleman's prior roles at Carnegie Mellon include Senior Director of Development & Special Projects, Director of the Institute for Social Innovation, and Director of Development from April 2001 to 2008. Coleman also holds a board member position for the Public Policy & International Affairs Fellowship Program starting May 2024. Previous positions include Director of Corporate and Foundation Support at Chatham University, Manager of Corporate Relations at Central Park Conservancy, Development Officer at Japan Society, and Supervising Senior Tax Specialist at KPMG. Coleman earned an MBA in Accounting from NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in Asian Studies and French from the University of Pennsylvania.
