Mark Poepping

Mark Poepping is an experienced IT leader with a significant tenure at Carnegie Mellon University since August 1996, serving as Head IT Architect and Sr Director. In this role, Mark is responsible for providing thought leadership on service mix, process approaches, and technical strategies to support service solutions, while also overseeing technical, financial, procedural, and personnel coordination across the division as a member of the CIO's office. Prior to this, Mark was a founding member of CERT from November 1988 to 1992, holding the position of Head IT Architect, and previously worked as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories from 1982 to 1985.
