Neehar Peri

Robotics Institute Graduate Research Assistant

Neehar Peri is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University’s Robotics Institute, focusing on advanced research in 3D object detection, tracking, and forecasting for autonomous driving applications. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Intern at MUKH Technologies, where Neehar led initiatives to enhance thermal-to-visible face synthesis and developed robust face verification pipelines. Additional internships at Argo AI and the University of Maryland involved developing object detection systems and conducting research in traffic analytics and adversarial attack defenses. Neehar's earlier experience includes a Conversational Commerce Technology Internship at Bank of America, where deep learning techniques were applied to improve chatbot interactions and customer satisfaction, as well as a Software Engineering Internship at Nayak Corporation. Neehar holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland and is pursuing a PhD in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University.
